Dairy effluent’s organic loads of animal fats, dissolved proteins, sugars, and residues of additives are toxic to most treatment systems and can result in a strong odour of butyric acid and heavy flocculated sludge masses.  We implement custom-formulated biological products to specifically address and remove these inhibiting compounds prior to biological treatment

Once our Compact Ponding System targeted the on-site digestion of these fats it will work towards sustainable dairy wastewater treatment with water reuse as one of the main objectives.
